Ed Jones was watching his TV one day when he saw an advert that he had never seen before. This was a big thing for a guy like Ed Jones, because he watched TV for at least five or six hours a day, and at weekends he happily watched double that each and every day. So a new advert was certainly something to pay attention to and look into.
It was telling him about whole life insurance, and about how important it was, because it would protect him from harm: at least, if he fell into harm, then it would pay him money to help him get back onto his feet again. Ed Jones looked down at his feet and saw that they were up on the sofa. He didn't really need help betting up onto his feet because he did not really spend that much time standing up or moving about. Even so, part of that uk whole life insurance advert had hit home, and Ed Jones grabbed his laptop to go to the web site they had told him to go to.
They had great rates on whole life insurance, and Ed Jones was simply amazed by how little it would cost to keep himself insured for the whole year. Whole life insurance was a wonderful thing, and Ed Jones was astonished that he had never heard of it before. He signed up as quickly as he could, and then sat back down to watch a commercial or two before the next episode of Friends came onto the screen.
The quote popped through Ed Jones' door the very next day, and Ed Jones' little dog known by everyone apart from the dog himself as Dumbo Dim collected up the letter and passed the letter to Ed, who was watching some early morning TV. Ed Jones opened up the letter and was very pleased to see that he would not have to pay too much for the insurance. He decided that he might have to have an insurance party, and invite all his friends round to tell them all about how clever he had been, and how good the insurance site was.
That night they all came round. The TV was on and Ed had put some specials on especially. They had a great party, and had even cracked out the pretzels by the time it came for everyone to go home.
